About Waratah Plumbing Co

Waratah Plumbing Co is the plumbing and gas team for Waratah in Newcastle, working the cottage blocks, the unit infill and the shop strips from one end of the suburb to the other. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters do the work, and every job runs the same way from the first ring to the invoice.

Who Is Behind the Van

No founder story and no headcount, just the trade. The people who turn up hold plumbing and gas licences, bring the gear the job needs and explain what they found before they touch a tool.

The work itself spans the whole house and the yard:

Blocked drains and sewers, cleared and camera-checked, plus drain jetting, pipe relining and tree root removal for the old clay lines under this suburb

How a Job Runs

It costs nothing to get us out to your door (excluding after-hours). We provide up-front, honest quotes that will always match the final price, should you decide to go ahead.

Nothing starts until you approve that figure, and the invoice matches it. Every finished job carries our 365-day warranty on all work.

"Not only all of that but the job came in right on quote." Steve

What the Local Stock Asks of Us

The older streets set the agenda

Colliery-era timber and brick cottages by the station still drain through earthenware sewers from the suburb's mining years, and the mature street trees over those lines keep feeding roots into the joints.

The newer streets set a different one

Infill units and townhouses closer to Turton Road, and the renovated kitchens and bathrooms in older houses, run on braided flexi hoses, which can let go without warning. Old pipework and fresh renovations both need a careful hand.

Where the Run Reaches

The van covers Waratah plus the adjoining suburbs on the same run: Mayfield, Georgetown, Broadmeadow, Lambton and Waratah West.
